The Milking process of cow

The milking process of cow has two different ways, first is the traditional way and the second is the Automated Milking System.

According to Alberta Milk the traditional way of milking parlour, cows are milked at least twice a day, usually 12 hours apart. Close to the usual milking time, the cows line up to enter the milk parlour. First the farmer inspects each cow, then he cleans the four teats on the udder before attaching the milking machine cluster. This helps to ensure no foreign material gets into the milk, and it stays high quality. The milking process starts and the milk is piped directly from the cow to the bulk tank where it is quickly chilled.

The Automated Milking System is the milking of dairy animals, especially of dairy cattle, without human labour. Automatic milking systems (AMS), also called voluntary milking systems (VMS), were developed in the late 20th century. If it is time for milking, the cow will enter the milk stall, the machine will automatically clean the teats, attach the cups and start milking. If it is not time for her to be milked, she will be turned away.

We the Valencia Dairy Cooperative, we are still using the traditional way of milking our dairy cows.

Natural and Heritage Attraction of Valencia, Negros Oriental

Here is some of the Natural and Heritage Attraction of Valencia, Negros Oriental. For sure, you will enjoy the scenery and you can find peace of mind.

First is the historical obelisk of the Filipino-American-Japanese Amity Shrine rests on the highlands of Valencia. The monumental shrine stands on the very ground where the furious battle of World War II was once fought. The Fil-Am Japanese Shrine was built to commemorate the souls of the departed who fought in the furious war. The shrine symbolizes the termination of the melancholic era and the birth of peace and friendship among the three countries.

Second is Mount Talinis, also known as the Cuernos de Negros (Horns of Negros), is a volcano in Negros Oriental. At about 1,903 meters (6,243 ft.) above sea level, it is the second highest mountain on Negros after Mount Kanlaon. The volcano is located 20 kms from Dumaguete, the capital of the province.

Mount Talinis is a potentially active volcano forming part of the Negros Volcanic Belt. With a base diameter of 36 kilometers, the volcanic complex is composed of several volcanic cones and peaks, the most prominent of which are Talinis, Cuernos de Negros, Guinsayawan, Yagumyum Peak and Guintabon Dome.

Third is, Casaroro Falls is lodged deep into the rock crevices of the rugged Valencia mountains. With an astounding height of 100 feet, the water plunges into a deep cold basin before it flows down to a stream. The waterfall is considerably narrow, instead of the usual wide cascade, but this is precisely what makes Casaroro unique. Though despite its narrowness, the volume of water that drops is heavy and causes a roar as it touches the pool. Around the basin are natural boulders huge enough to rest any traveler’s weary feet.
