Our Dairy Farmers
We the Valencia Dairy Cooperative, are composed of 53 farmers who are into cow’s milk production. We are the recipients of the “Palit Baka Program of the National Dairy Authority (NDA). We have to pay one cow (the off spring) to the NDA.
We imported our dairy cow from New Zealand. Our method of milk extraction is done through the traditional or manual means. The extracted milk is brought to the cooperative and delivered to the processing plant in Dumaguete City which is located 8 kilometers from the cooperative.
